Cancellation & Refund Policy

At Akash Travels World, we understand that travel plans can sometimes change. Our cancellation and refund terms are designed to provide clarity while also taking into account the cancellation policies of airlines, hotels, tour operators and other travel service providers.

By making a booking with Akash Travels World, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following policy.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: The fixed percentages mentioned on this page, such as "30 days before = 90% refund" or "15 days before = 50% refund", should only be published if these percentages are consistently applicable in your actual booking policy. This policy is applicable to all our standard tour packages, however, different rules may apply for flight tickets, hotel bookings, and peak season bookings.

1. Booking Cancellation

A cancellation request must be submitted to Akash Travels World in writing through the registered email address or other official communication channel.

The cancellation date will generally be considered the date on which the written cancellation request is received by us.

Cancellation requests made verbally may not be treated as confirmed until received in writing.

2. Advance Payment

Any advance payment made to confirm a booking may be partially or fully non-refundable, depending on the terms of the airline, hotel, tour operator or other service provider involved.

Before confirming a booking, customers are advised to review the applicable cancellation conditions communicated with their quotation or booking confirmation.

3. Cancellation Charges

Cancellation charges may vary depending on:

• Destination

• Travel dates

• Type of package

• Airline cancellation rules

• Hotel cancellation rules

• Tour operator policies

• Visa processing status

• Time remaining before departure

• Non-refundable services

• Supplier-specific terms.

• Cancellation charges for our standard tour packages will be applicable as follows:30 Days or more before departure: 90% Refund (10% will be deducted as service charge)15 to 29 Days before departure: 50% Refund7 to 14 Days before departure: 25% Refund Less than 7 Days before departure or No-Show: No Refund

The applicable cancellation charges will be deducted from the amount paid before calculating any eligible refund.

4. Flight Cancellation

Flight bookings are subject to the cancellation, refund and amendment rules of the respective airline.

Airline cancellation fees, fare differences, taxes, service charges and other applicable deductions may apply.

Airline tickets that are non-refundable will not be refundable except where the airline permits a refund under its applicable rules.

5. Hotel Cancellation

Hotel bookings are subject to the cancellation policy of the respective hotel or accommodation provider.

Depending on the booking conditions, cancellation may result in:

• Full refund

• Partial refund

• Cancellation charges

• No refund

Non-refundable hotel bookings will generally not qualify for a refund.

6. Tour Package Cancellation

For domestic and international tour packages, cancellation charges will depend on the individual package and the cancellation policies of the service providers involved.

A package may include multiple services such as:

Flights + Hotels + Transfers + Sightseeing + Activities + Visa Services

Each service may have a separate cancellation policy.

Therefore, the final refundable amount may be calculated after deducting the applicable charges from each confirmed service.

7. Visa Fees & Visa Assistance

Visa application fees paid to embassies, consulates, visa centers or other authorities are generally non-refundable, including in cases where a visa application is refused, withdrawn or cancelled, subject to the applicable authority's rules.

Any service or assistance fee charged by Akash Travels World may also be non-refundable once the applicable service has commenced.

Visa approval is solely at the discretion of the relevant embassy, consulate or immigration authority.

8. No-Show

If a customer does not appear for a confirmed flight, hotel stay, transfer, tour or other service without prior cancellation, it may be treated as a No-Show.

No-show bookings may be non-refundable, subject to the applicable supplier's terms and conditions.

9. Changes to Booking

If a customer wants to change:

• Travel dates

• Destination

• Hotel

• Number of travelers

• Flight

• Room category

• Activities or sightseeing

additional charges may apply.

These charges can include supplier amendment fees, fare differences, hotel rate differences and applicable service charges.

10. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, the refundable amount will generally be processed after the relevant airline, hotel, tour operator or service provider releases the applicable refund to us.

Refund processing time may vary depending on the service provider and payment method.

Akash Travels World cannot guarantee a specific processing time controlled by a third-party supplier.

11. Refund Method

Approved refunds will normally be made through the original payment method, wherever reasonably possible.

Refunds may be subject to applicable payment gateway, bank or transaction charges where permitted.

12. Non-Refundable Services

The following may be non-refundable depending on the booking terms:

• Non-refundable flight fares

• Non-refundable hotel bookings

• Visa application fees

• Visa service fees after processing has started

• Special event tickets

• Attraction tickets

• Certain transportation bookings

• Promotional or special package rates

• Services already used or partially used

• Supplier-specific non-refundable charges

The exact terms applicable to a booking will be communicated at the time of quotation or confirmation wherever applicable.

13. Cancellation by Akash Travels World

If Akash Travels World is required to cancel or substantially modify a service due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we will make reasonable efforts to provide available alternatives or applicable refunds according to the terms of the relevant service providers.

Any refund will be subject to amounts actually refundable by the respective suppliers.

14. Force Majeure

Refunds or changes resulting from extraordinary circumstances such as:

• Natural disasters

• Severe weather

• Government restrictions

• Political unrest

• War

• Strikes

• Pandemics

• Transportation disruptions

• Other circumstances beyond reasonable control

will be handled according to the applicable supplier and government policies.

15. Service Charges

Akash Travels World may charge applicable travel planning, processing or service fees.

Such fees will be communicated before confirmation where applicable and may be non-refundable once the relevant service has been provided or processing has commenced.

16. Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for reviewing the booking confirmation, package inclusions, exclusions and cancellation conditions before making payment.

Customers should ensure that all personal information, travel dates and documentation provided during booking are accurate.
